What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.
Drive the adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
Establish consistent validation standards for AI-generated outputs, including security, performance, and peer review protocols.
Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Lead communities of practice to promote the use of leading-edge technologies across the engineering organization.
Coach engineers on the safe, compliant adoption of AI tools while managing data sensitivity and security risks.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Demonstrated experience leading the use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting validation standards for team usage.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# and hands-on work with LLMs and generative AI.
Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), microservices, RESTful APIs, and database technologies.
Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
Proficiency with development/testing tools including JUnit, Maven, Jenkins, Postman, and others; Cloud certification is preferred.
