IT Field Support Specialist

What you'll do

• Deliver Tier 2 and 3 technical support for workstations, servers, printers, and teleconferencing equipment.
• Conduct site surveys to assess configurations and prepare detailed technical documentation and diagrams.
• Analyze hardware requirements, prepare procurement specifications, and develop installation schedules.
• Install and configure new hardware, cabling, and network components for upgrade initiatives.
• Build and install specialized interconnecting cables for unique site needs or hardware integrations.
• Maintain fiber optic modems, multiplexers, Ethernet cables, and telephone systems.
• Train site personnel on the proper use and maintenance of hardware and IT resources.
• Track and document all technical issues and service requests using a ticketing system.

What we're looking for

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant IT experience.
• Must possess an 8570 Certification.
• Security+ certification is highly preferred.
• Must hold a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Must be highly skilled in installing, repairing, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals.
• Must be well-versed in installing Windows operating systems, software applications, antivirus programs, and security patches.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record to operate a company vehicle.
