Integration and Test Engineer, Fuel Systems

What you'll do

• Manage fuel system integration and testing from component bench tests through full vehicle ground tests.
• Define requirements and instrumentation for measuring vehicle weight, center of gravity, and moments of inertia.
• Execute orientation test programs to capture fuel flow behavior, pump performance, and tank dispense sequencing.
• Define specifications for fixturing, tooling, and test setups for both bench and vehicle-level testing.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to define load cases and configurations for mass properties testing.
• Provide clean data from mass property tests to support ground vibration testing and flight dynamics.
• Ensure safety in integration environments by managing hazardous fluid handling and heavy-lift operations.
• Maintain configuration control for fuel system integration environments and test fixtures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Systems, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in integration and test of fluid/fuel systems and/or aircraft mass properties test programs.
• Experience with aircraft or vehicle mass properties measurement techniques and associated instrumentation.
• Experience with fuel or fluid system components including tanks, pumps, valves, fluid lines, and sensors.
• Experience defining fixturing and test setup requirements for fluid system rigs or multi-orientation ground testing.
• Proficiency in DAQ setup, sensor selection, and common communication protocols like CAN, Ethernet, and Serial.
• Ability to work safely with fuel, hazardous fluids, and pressurized systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance in the United States, United Kingdom, or Australia.
• Defense industry background (preferred).
