As an Infra Configuration Consultant (Mainframe Capacity and Performance Analyst), you will join the Technology organization to monitor, analyze, and optimize mainframe system performance, capacity, and resource utilization across the enterprise environment. You will be responsible for producing performance reports, identifying bottlenecks in CPU, memory, and disk I/O, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure reliable service. Your daily work involves analyzing data using RMF, SMF, CA-MICS, MXG, SAS, Mainview, Systemware, Strobe, Syslog, OPSLOG, SDSF, and TSO/E utilities. You will also manage hardware support activities, including microcode installation and vendor coordination, while navigating incident and change management processes via ServiceNow and Endevor. This role addresses the critical challenge of maintaining stable mainframe infrastructure through proactive capacity planning, workload tuning in z/OS environments, and ensuring high availability for core enterprise systems.
