What you'll do

Install and configure z/OS platform software on mainframe systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for the z/OS environment.
Provide support and coaching to junior staff in system administration tasks.
Maintain and deploy mainframe system software components across multiple sysplexes.
Monitor system performance using IBM tools like Query Monitor and Administration Tool.

What we're looking for

Experience installing and configuring z/OS platform software.
Proficiency in DB2 for z/OS installation and support or LUW equivalent.
Knowledge of IBM Administration Tool and Query Monitor.
Programming skills in REXX, CLIST, SAS, Cobol, ASM languages.
Familiarity with CA-7, CA-OPSMVS, Syncsort, ISPF, IDCAMS tools.
Understanding of TCP/IP, NDM, VSAM, Unix System Services protocols.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project planning methodologies.
