You must be able to correlate behaviors based on known interdependencies while managing public or sensitive communications during large-scale incidents within a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Drive the resolution of incidents and escalations while providing direct management to customers.
  • Design and implement real-time and proactive monitoring for customer infrastructures.
  • Manage and own customer issues from initial report through final resolution.
  • Manage public and sensitive communications during large-scale incidents.
  • Lead projects to deliver operational improvements as the company evolves.
  • Create and review documentation and training materials for incident and escalation management.
  • Identify and troubleshoot recurring cloud infrastructure issues.
  • Hire and mentor peers in incident and escalation management practices.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of demonstrable Incident Manager experience.
  • Experience in escalations handling (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience in Support, Network, Solutions Architecture, or a similar IT role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science/Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with Cloud computing and experience with Python, JavaScript, or shell scripting.
  • Ability to correlate behaviors based on known interdependencies.
  • Experience driving projects from conception to delivery and demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in challenging, fast-paced environments.
