The Implementation Specialist joins the Cloud Deployment team to deliver cloud solutions to the public safety sector. This post-sales role involves collaborating across cross-functional teams to evaluate organizational readiness, streamline legacy workflows, and ensure enterprise business units maximize cloud-native environments. You will manage the project lifecycle by overseeing installation, configuration, migration, and training for software-as-a-service products. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues at the application and OS levels, managing risks, and creating process documentation. Required skills include experience in business operations, project management, and cloud implementation within public safety or government systems. Technical requirements include knowledge of programming languages like Java, C++, or Ruby; relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL; web technologies like HTML, CSS, XML, and JSON; and VMware for managing virtual machines.
Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and milestone tracking for cloud deployments.
Install, configure, and migrate SaaS products on accelerated schedules for public safety customers.
Troubleshoot technical issues at both the application and operating system levels.
Conduct training sessions on various products and services for client teams.
Create and maintain process documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and knowledge base FAQs.
Mitigate project risks by proactively anticipating issues and developing contingency plans.
Drive cross-functional alignment across enterprise groups to ensure smooth operational transitions.
Resolve complex customer issues and technical questions to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
What we're looking for
High school diploma.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Ability to obtain a background clearance as required by government customers.
4+ years of experience at the intersection of business operations, project management, and cloud implementation in Enterprise, Public Safety, or Government systems.
Understanding of Public Safety customer environments for product security and reliability.
Excellent investigative, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Ruby).
Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, XML, JSON).
Knowledge of VMware and managing Virtual Machines.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field (preferred).
