The Implementation Engineer II joins the team to independently manage the configuration, implementation, and technical delivery of digital banking products and third-party integrations for client onboarding initiatives. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues by analyzing system behaviors and logs, configuring platform functionality based on specific requirements, and performing testing and validation activities to ensure quality standards are met. The successful candidate will collaborate with project managers, product teams, and vendors to resolve implementation challenges and manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects. Required skills include experience with relational databases like Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL, along with proficiency in troubleshooting methodologies and technical documentation. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with APIs, system integrations, and scripting languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript to support the delivery of fintech and banking technology solutions.
Configure Alkami Digital Banking products and third-party integrations based on technical specifications and client requirements.
Troubleshoot implementation issues by analyzing system behaviors, reviewing logs, and resolving technical discrepancies.
Execute testing and validation plans to confirm platform configurations meet operational standards.
Manage the technical delivery of project tasks while coordinating timelines and ensuring quality standards are met.
Support third-party vendor integrations by validating connectivity and troubleshooting interface-related issues.
Maintain detailed documentation for configuration records, technical procedures, and issue tracking.
Provide post-go-live technical support to resolve client questions and ensure platform stability.
Identify opportunities for process improvements by documenting recurring challenges and suggesting workflow enhancements.
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience supporting software implementations, technical consulting, systems configuration, or client onboarding in SaaS or fintech environments.
Experience configuring software platforms and managing technical implementation projects.
Knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies and technical issue resolution practices.
Experience with relational databases such as Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to analyze implementation requirements and manage multiple project priorities simultaneously.
Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. for full-time employment.
