The Implementation Engineer joins the team to independently manage the configuration, technical delivery, and implementation of Alkami Digital Banking products and third-party integrations. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing system behaviors through logs and documentation, and performing testing and validation activities to ensure platform functionality meets client requirements. The individual will collaborate with project managers, product teams, and vendors to resolve discrepancies and manage multiple priorities across concurrent engagements. Configure Alkami Digital Banking products and third-party integrations based on technical specifications and client requirements.
Troubleshoot implementation issues by analyzing system behaviors, reviewing logs, and resolving technical discrepancies.
Execute test plans to validate that platform configurations meet client and operational requirements.
Manage the technical delivery of projects by coordinating timelines and ensuring high-quality results.
Support third-party vendor integrations by validating connectivity and troubleshooting interface-related problems.
Maintain detailed documentation for configuration records, technical procedures, and project artifacts.
Provide post-go-live technical support to resolve issues and ensure platform stability.
Identify and document opportunities for process improvements based on recurring implementation challenges.
What we're looking for
Must have 1–3 years of experience supporting software implementations, technical consulting, systems configuration, or client onboarding in SaaS or fintech environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, or a related field.
Experience configuring software platforms and troubleshooting technical issues using established methodologies.
Proficiency with relational databases such as Postgres, MSSQL, Oracle, or MySQL.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, project timelines, and documentation of technical procedures.
Experience supporting digital banking, fintech, or financial services technology platforms (preferred).
Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, scripting languages, or SaaS implementation methodologies (preferred).
