What you'll do

  • Set up and maintain StarRC extraction across all design types including 3DIC designs.
  • Maintain Cadence Virtuoso schematic and layout features within a custom design environment.
  • Improve flow and processes to enhance user experience and reduce runtime.
  • Collaborate with vendors and designers to evaluate and deploy new tool features.
  • Build regression testbenches to maintain the quality of CAD tools and flows.
  • Provide technical support and training to users across multiple geographic sites.
  • Integrate AI agents across CAD areas to accelerate the design cycle.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with StarRC extraction or any equivalent vendor tool (preferred).
  • Experience with Virtuoso schematic/layout or any equivalent vendor tool (preferred).
  • Experience with Calibre or any equivalent vendor tool (preferred).
  • Experience creating AI agents using Claude Code or any equivalent AI agentic tool (preferred).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Perl, Tcl, Python, and Cadence SKILL (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with engineers across different sites and time zones.
