Senior CAD Automation and Mixed-Signal Simulation Engineer

What you'll do

• Own and define the roadmap for mixed-signal simulation methodology across multiple technology nodes.
• Serve as the primary technical authority for circuit design teams regarding functional behavior and performance verification.
• Lead the architecture and organization-wide adoption of novel CAD automations.
• Manage strategic relationships with third-party EDA tool vendors to define requirements and drive tool improvements.
• Define strategies for bridging analog and digital domains and establishing cross-team best practices.
• Architect durable solutions to mitigate systemic risks in simulation and modeling methodologies.
• Lead small software development teams in the design and delivery of complex CAD applications.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to elevate team capability and engineering excellence.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant AMS (Analog Mixed-Signal) industry experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Perl, C/C++, or TCL programming.
• Deep, hands-on experience with mixed-signal co-simulation tools and methodologies.
• Expert-level experience with industry-standard AMS tools including Cadence, Synopsys, or Siemens (preferred).
• Deep knowledge of analog simulation tools such as Cadence Spectre, Synopsys PrimeSim/HSPICE/Finesim, or Siemens AFS (preferred).
• Proficiency with behavioral and functional circuit description languages including SystemVerilog, VerilogA, Verilog, Verilog-AMS, and VHDL (preferred).
• Demonstrated experience leading small software development teams to design and deliver novel, complex CAD applications (preferred).
