IC CAD Engineer The IC CAD Engineer joins the Central Engineering team to provide development and support for Analog/Mixed Signal tool flows focused on advanced process nodes. What you'll do

  • Support, enhance, and maintain PDKs and various Analog/Mixed-Signal design tools.
  • Develop automation software using Skill, Perl, and Unix Shell scripting.
  • Create technical documentation and provide hands-on training for design and layout engineers.
  • Collaborate with EDA vendors to track and resolve tool-related issues.
  • Work with Technology Foundry teams to debug and characterize tool-related problems.
  • Resolve circuit design, layout, physical verification, and post-layout extraction challenges.

What we're looking for

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • At least 10 years of EDA experience.
  • Expertise in Cadence tools including Virtuoso Studio, Maestro, Spectre, Layout, Quantus QRC, Voltus-XFi/EMIR, and EMX.
  • Proficiency with Synopsys Hspice, Primesim, StarRC, Quickcap, and Mentor Calibre/PERC.
  • Expert level skills in Cadence Skill, Perl, and Unix Shell scripting for automation.
  • Strong knowledge of circuit design, device physics, and physical verification.
  • Experience in all phases of CAD tools including evaluation, QA, testing, release, and user support.
  • Legal right to work in the United States.
