Analog Simulation and Env Automation CAD Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop and validate custom SPICE simulation flows for analog, mixed-signal, and RF circuits.
• Solve transistor-level simulation issues using Spice simulators in command-line and Virtuoso environments.
• Create automation flows and tools to improve the Analog Design Environment (ADE/XL, Maestro, OCEAN).
• Develop next-generation in-house EDA CAD flow solutions for various technology nodes.
• Analyze waveforms and process results data to support circuit design teams.
• Establish methodologies for SPICE simulation and modeling techniques to advance technology nodes.
• Evaluate EDA tool products and work with vendors to meet specific design requirements.
• Provide automation scripts using Python, Perl, SKILL, or Shell to meet dynamic design needs.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in SPICE simulation and design environments for Analog/RF circuit domains.
• Programming and scripting skills in Perl, Python, SKILL language, or Shell.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Domain experience in circuit simulations with Analog/RFIC design and CAD automation across various technology nodes (preferred).
• Exposure to Cadence ADE environment including Virtuoso, PDK, CDF, Callbacks, Netlisting, and OCEAN tools (preferred).
• Knowledge of SPICE simulators such as Spectre, Hspice, ADS, GoldenGate, and others (preferred).
• Experience in device level SOA checks, statistical simulations, or evaluating EDA tool products (preferred).
