Ground System Operator Level 2

What you'll do

• Monitor and analyze system health through regular status checks and metric recording.
• Perform front-line troubleshooting and maintenance to ensure mission readiness.
• Support and optimize antenna operations and RF engineering efforts during missions.
• Resolve technical issues using critical thinking to support ongoing operations.
• Document operational workflows, procedures, and issue resolutions to enhance system knowledge.
• Communicate technical information to team members, stakeholders, and external customers.
• Identify system performance improvements by working across cross-functional teams.

What we're looking for

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or 0 years with a Master's degree.
• 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Educational background or experience in antenna operations, RF systems, or related fields.
• Experience working with Linux systems, including scripting or troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• STEM Degree (preferred).
• Experience as a Service Desk/Operator (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with navigating satellite and RF monitoring/management systems (preferred).
• Ability to lead technical investigations and prepare event artifacts (preferred).
• Valid U.S. Passport and willingness to travel OCONUS for 2–4 weeks annually (preferred).
