Ground System Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop detailed test plans, descriptions, and procedures for cloud-based ground segments.
• Identify, schedule, and track all critical test milestones.
• Identify, investigate, and report on technical problems discovered during testing.
• Perform integration testing using simulators, emulators, flight satellite hardware, and testbeds.
• Prepare and deliver detailed reports on formal verification test events.
• Establish traceability between requirements, use cases, and test cases using IBM Rational DOORS.
• Conduct extensive investigations to determine root causes and solutions for complex problems.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• Minimum of 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
• SECRET DOD Clearance required.
• Subject matter expert with a minimum of 9 years of experience in complex multi-subsystem cloud-hosted systems and project management (preferred).
• Ability to communicate with customers and vendors using collaboration tools, presentations, and written reports (preferred).
• Experience with MBSE tools such as MagicDraw (preferred).
• Security clearance.
