Ground System Operator Level 1 or 2

What you'll do

• Monitor and analyze system health to ensure optimal performance of complex ground-station systems.
• Coordinate daily operational rhythms and record performance metrics.
• Perform front-line troubleshooting and resolve technical issues to maintain mission readiness.
• Support and optimize antenna operations and RF engineering efforts during missions.
• Document operational workflows, procedures, and issue resolutions to enhance system knowledge.
• Communicate with team members, stakeholders, and external customers to ensure operational success.
• Perform maintenance and operational tasks to support mission requirements.

What we're looking for

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of relevant experience for Level 1, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of relevant experience for Level 2, or 0 years with a Master's degree, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Educational background or experience in antenna operations, RF systems, or related fields.
• Experience with or knowledge of Linux systems, including scripting or troubleshooting, or the ability to learn.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• STEM Degree (preferred).
• Experience as a Service Desk/Operator (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with navigating satellite and RF monitoring/management systems (preferred).
• Ability to communicate and brief to various audience tiers (preferred).
• Ability to lead technical investigations and prepare event artifacts (preferred).
• Possession of a valid U.S. Passport and willingness to travel OCONUS for 2–4 weeks annually (preferred).
