Graphics (GPU) Architectural Modeling Engineer

As a Graphics (GPU) Architectural Modeling Engineer, you will join the GPU Performance Modeling Team to drive advanced exploration for next-generation GPU architectures and micro-architectures. You will be responsible for defining and optimizing micro-architecture by identifying bottlenecks in various workloads, gathering measurements to validate design alternatives, and drafting architectural specification documents. Your daily work involves C++ performance modeling of proposed solutions, developing APIs and tools to improve the modeling platform, and collaborating with SoC architects to enhance simulation environments. The role requires proficiency in C++, object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns. You will also utilize scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl. This position focuses on solving complex micro-architecture challenges by analyzing performance data to inform critical chip design decisions and improve the overall efficiency of GPU simulators.
