You will utilize Python, C++, Vulkan, HLSL, GLSL, and SPIR-V to write rendering applications. Additionally, the role requires proficiency in GFXR capture for Vulkan, RenderDoc interpretation, and utilizing AI tools to solve complex system-level problems within the GPU domain.

What you'll do

  • Perform performance analysis for graphics and raytracing workloads by adjusting software, hardware, and architectural knobs.
  • Conduct competitive performance and power analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for next-generation architecture improvements.
  • Develop tools to streamline and scale debug and validation tasks.
  • Support presilicon workload enablement efforts for analyzed games and benchmarks.
  • Analyze performance silicon measurements on Android devices to identify GPU bottlenecks.
  • Write rendering applications using graphics APIs such as Vulkan, HLSL, GLSL, and SPIR-V.
  • Utilize GFXR capture and playback tools to interpret data from Vulkan renders.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in Software, Hardware, or Systems Engineering with a Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Software, Hardware, or Systems Engineering with a Master's degree.
  • 4+ years of experience in Software, Hardware, or Systems Engineering with a PhD.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++.
  • Knowledge of GPU architecture and rendering pipelines including Vulkan, HLSL, GLSL, and SPIR-V.
  • Experience in performance analysis, Android systems, and using AI tools for coding and debugging.
