What you'll do

Build data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and integrations using Google Cloud services like BigQuery and Dataflow.
Perform data modeling, performance tuning, and query optimization within the BigQuery environment.
Develop machine learning models and AI solutions utilizing Vertex AI and Gemini Foundation Models.
Implement MLOps processes including model monitoring, retraining, deployment, and RAG experimentation.
Create dashboards and analytics products using Looker or Looker Studio.
Translate client requirements into technical tasks and implementation plans during project workshops.
Manage data governance, quality checks, and lineage tracking using tools like Dataplex and IAM.
Develop internal documentation, reusable components, and accelerators for the engineering team.

What we're looking for

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analytics, ML Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with Google Cloud Platform.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with SQL, data modeling, and building data pipelines.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Python or AI/GenAI tools like Vertex AI.
Bachelor's degree required, or an Associate's degree with work experience.
Experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and Looker is preferred.
Familiarity with AI/ML development, Vertex AI, Gemini models, embeddings, or RAG patterns is preferred.
Google Cloud certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Data Engineer) are preferred.
