TL;DR · Go-To-Market Product Manager

The Go-To-Market Product Manager joins the Product team to drive commercial adoption and revenue growth for tactical communications, Electronic Warfare, Spectrum Dominance, Integrated Solutions, and Accessories portfolios. This role serves as the commercial engine, connecting cross-functionally to define pricing strategies, software licensing models, feature tiering, and competitive positioning. Key responsibilities include optimizing Bill of Materials costs, managing margin profiles, and leading commercial launch readiness for hardware and software products. The successful candidate will create sales enablement assets, conduct win/loss analyses, and monitor defense program requirements. Required skills include experience in pricing matrices, defense-sector commercial acumen, and knowledge of wireless communications, MANETs, RF systems, and software-defined radios. The role addresses the technical challenge of providing vital communications links for defense, law enforcement, and public safety agencies in tough operational environments.

What you'll do

  • Define pricing structures, software licensing models, and feature tiering strategies to maximize recurring revenue.
  • Optimize Bill of Materials (BOM) costs and establish margin profiles in partnership with Product Line Managers.
  • Create commercial assets, win/loss analyses, and sales training tools to support the sales pipeline.
  • Lead cross-functional commercialization activities to ensure all departments are ready for new product launches.
  • Develop and maintain a competitive landscape analysis to identify growth areas and market trends.
  • Measure and report on key performance indicators including customer adoption, pipeline velocity, and pricing effectiveness.
  • Synthesize customer and field feedback into actionable commercial insights and monetization strategies.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to conduct face-to-face customer meetings.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, RF Engineering, or a highly related technical/business discipline.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
  • Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in go-to-market management, pricing strategy, business development, or product management within the defense, aerospace, or wireless communications industries.
  • Proven track record of designing software packaging structures, defining pricing matrices, analyzing margins, and coordinating commercial readiness for hardware and software product launches.
  • Proven track record of influencing cross-functional engineering, operations, and sales teams without direct authority to meet rigid release dates.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer meetings.
  • Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or an engineering/technical discipline (preferred).
