What you'll do

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex semiconductor equipment issues.
  • Provide technical support to field engineers and product support personnel regarding etch chamber performance.
  • Resolve gaps in process capability, chamber matching, defects, and yield failure issues.
  • Report process enhancements and continuous design improvements to the engineering group.
  • Support first-in-fab customers during the process qualification phase.
  • Train Field Service engineers on technical procedures and equipment handling.
  • Create Best Known Method (BKM) documentation for internal use.

What we're looking for

  • Candidates must have 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Candidates must have 8 years of experience with a Master's degree.
  • Candidates must have 5 years of experience with a PhD.
  • Equivalent experience to the specified education and experience combinations is acceptable.
  • Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging complex semiconductor equipment is required.
  • Ability to provide technical support for etch chambers regarding process capability, chamber matching, defects, and yield failure.
  • Ability to provide training to Field Service engineers and create Best Known Method (BKM) documents.
  • Willingness to travel between 15% and 20%.
