What you'll do

Provide technical support to field engineers and personnel troubleshooting Etch chambers for process capability and yield issues.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and debug complex semiconductor equipment to resolve customer issues quickly.
Report process-related enhancements and continuous design improvements to the engineering group.
Support first-in-fab customers with process qualification.
Provide training to Field Service Engineers and create Best Known Method (BKM) documentation.
Act as a technical resource for less experienced colleagues and lead specific projects.
Identify potential issues at customer sites and implement alternative solutions.

What we're looking for

Minimum 12 years experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a Master's, or a PhD with 5 years experience.
Equivalent professional experience to the specified education and experience requirements is acceptable.
Required experience in semiconductor fab environments.
Preferred experience in Etch process engineering.
Preferred experience with Lam's specific Etch products.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work effectively within a collaboration or matrix environment.
