What you'll do

Provide process support, installation, and troubleshooting for new and existing equipment at customer sites.
Serve as key field support for Beta sites, evaluations, and first-in-fab installations.
Design and conduct experiments to collect data and analyze results for optimizing device architecture.
Perform root cause analysis to address process deviations and meet customer requirements.
Develop new process recipes and partner with hardware engineering to define chamber requirements.
Provide technical leadership and instruction to Field Service Engineers, technicians, and customers.
Coordinate statistical analysis of failure rates and develop continuous improvement plans.
Recommend design changes for technical solutions based on monitored performance trends.

What we're looking for

A PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a related field with 5+ years of work experience.
A Master of Science degree with 8+ years of work experience.
A Bachelor of Science degree with 12+ years of work experience.
Ability to analyze complex issues and data requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for difficult engineering issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer relationship skills.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while wearing personal protective safety equipment or a suit.
In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
