What you'll do

  • Conduct process engineering research and development for cutting-edge semiconductor equipment and systems.
  • Enhance processing techniques to improve manufacturing methods and product fabrication.
  • Develop and sustain new processes to reduce production costs and increase yields.
  • Analyze test data to establish process specifications and determine necessary limits for development.
  • Lead and provide technical guidance to process technicians during execution activities.
  • Partner with customers to identify roadmaps, requirements, and business challenges.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies at customer sites through direct collaboration.
  • Contribute to next-generation product development and release activities supporting the semiconductor roadmap.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years with a Master's degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor process design, deposition, etch, dielectrics, conductor materials, or metal films (preferred).
  • Familiarity with laboratory work and semiconductor equipment involving surface preparation and analytical techniques (preferred).
  • In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE) (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or other scientific computing languages (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of statistical analysis and problem-solving methodologies (preferred).
  • Experience with statistical tools such as JMP or Minitab (preferred).
  • Background in ALD, CVD, PECVD, PVD, Plasma Physics, RIE, ALE, ICP, CCP, material synthesis, or characterization (preferred).
