What you'll do

Provide process support, installation, and system improvements for new applications at customer sites.
Serve as key field support for Beta sites, evaluations, and first-in-fab installations.
Design experiments, analyze data, and generate reports to optimize device architecture and process modules.
Perform root cause analysis to address process deviations and meet customer requirements for new technologies.
Develop best known method recipes and partner with hardware engineering to define chamber requirements.
Provide technical leadership and instruction to Field Service Engineers and technicians on repairs and operations.
Coordinate statistical analysis of failure rates and develop continuous improvement plans.
Recommend design changes for technical solutions based on monitored performance trends.

What we're looking for

A PhD in Electronics, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or a related field with 5+ years of work experience.
A Master of Science degree with 8+ years of work experience.
A Bachelor of Science degree with 12+ years of work experience.
Ability to analyze complex issues and data requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Sound judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for difficult engineering issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong customer relationship skills.
Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing personal protective safety equipment and on-call if needed.
In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
