What you'll do

  • Design and develop cloud-native, microservices-based applications using the latest technologies and best industry practices.
  • Develop secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
  • Use domain modeling techniques to structure software for clarity, testability, and long-term evolution.
  • Design scalable architectural patterns that avoid single points of failure and ensure zero-downtime releases.
  • Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve the operational stability of software systems.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly while updating technologies and patterns to keep systems current.
  • Lead communities of practice to drive the adoption of new and leading-edge technologies across the organization.

What we're looking for

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies like Python, Flask, and Django to build microservices-based applications.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and JSON.
  • Hands-on experience designing and building scalable applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum) and the full software development life cycle.
  • Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and application resiliency.
  • Strong soft skills including presentation, negotiation, mentoring, and stakeholder management (preferred).
  • Experience in the banking domain and AWS certification (preferred).
