Lead Software Engineer, Fullstack

What you'll do

• Deliver end-to-end cloud-native, microservices-based applications using best industry practices.
• Develop secure production code and perform code reviews and debugging for other team members.
• Design and build scalable, reliable solutions that ensure zero-downtime releases and optimized data performance.
• Drive the adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across the development team.
• Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability.
• Lead communities of practice to drive awareness and adoption of leading-edge technologies.
• Use domain modeling techniques to structure software for clarity, testability, and long-term evolution.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure they do not resurface.

What we're looking for

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies like Python, Flask, and Django to build microservices-based applications.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), distributed systems, RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and JSON.
• Hands-on experience designing and building scalable applications using SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, the software development life cycle, and proficiency in automation and continuous delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading the use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and understanding responsible AI use.
• Strong soft skills including presentation, negotiation, mentoring, and stakeholder management (preferred).
• Experience in the banking domain, AWS certification, or building enterprise solutions focused on Data Analytics or LLM implementations (preferred).
