As a Forward-Deployed Solutions Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical authority for cyber products during market-facing engagements and enterprise sales cycles. You will be responsible for designing solutions, delivering high-impact demonstrations, providing competitive positioning, and guiding negotiations to ensure seamless transitions from sales to delivery. Your daily work involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to provide market feedback while acting as a technical advisor to customers during evaluation phases. The role requires expertise in cyber defense products such as malware reverse engineering, detection engineering, and threat hunting. You will utilize technologies including AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like GitLab or Jenkins. Additionally, you may leverage Python, Java, or C/C++ to build integrations while solving complex problems related to security telemetry, alert triage, and infrastructure integration across endpoint, identity, network, and cloud environments.
Serve as the primary technical authority for cyber products during market-facing engagements and enterprise sales cycles.
Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase scalability, security, and integration capabilities.
Provide competitive technical positioning against rival products and solutions in the marketplace.
Manage formal procurement processes including proposal development, architecture reviews, and security assessments.
Act as a technical advisor to customers during evaluation and early adoption phases.
Provide post-sale support including troubleshooting, contract renewals, and product upgrades.
Deliver market feedback to internal teams to influence the product roadmap and analysis.
What we're looking for
U.S. citizenship is required.
High school diploma or GED is required.
5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or solution architecture.
4+ years of experience leading enterprise engagements.
3+ years of experience architecting, implementing, and integrating enterprise-scale security architectures across endpoints, identity, networks, and cloud environments.
3+ years of experience working with security operations teams to support investigation workflows and alert triage.
2+ years of experience performing technical work such as engineering software products, developing applications, or configuring operating systems.
