The Forward Deployed Engineer joins the Engineering team to bridge the gap between core product development and specific customer needs within the enterprise finance space. This role involves building proof-of-value systems during the pre-sale phase and deploying production-ready AI Agents post-sale to automate complex accounting processes. You will perform deep technical troubleshooting, write SQL for integrations, and review Python code to manage data flows and API-driven workflows. What we're looking for
5 to experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable customer-embedded engineering role.
Deep experience with Agentic AI including LangChain, LangGraph, MCP servers, multi-agent systems, RAG, vector stores, and hybrid retrieval.
Experience with LLMs and tooling such as OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, and prompt engineering.
Deep experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, SQL, and enterprise integrations.
Strong technical fluency to collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers as a peer.
Track record of managing multiple technical deployments simultaneously under delivery pressure.
Ability to lead technical troubleshooting calls with customers and internal IT teams.
Background in high-growth SaaS, applied AI, or fintech/ERP/accounting-adjacent domains (preferred).
Domain experience in construction, nonprofit, manufacturing, wealth management, healthcare, franchise, or field services (preferred).
Prior experience embedded at a customer site for a multi-month deployment (preferred).
