What you'll do

Drive the design, implementation, and verification of firmware in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
Define power management solutions for future generations of Qualcomm CPUs.
Develop embedded firmware to manage power and performance for CPU subsystems within SoCs.
Contribute to management controller firmware development including boot, RAS, debug, security, and runtime services.
Engage with open-source communities to contribute support for processor architectures, device drivers, and firmware features.
Provide input to SoC and platform architects on future hardware designs.
Identify skill requirements and participate in the hiring process for new engineers.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 6+ years of software engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of software engineering experience.
PhD in Engineering or Computer Science with 4+ years of software engineering experience.
At least 3 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
5 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
Proficiency in writing and debugging C and assembly.
Experience in driver development within RTOS or OS Kernel environments.
Demonstrated experience with embedded OSes like Zephyr, eCos, uC/OS, or FreeRTOS.
