What you'll do

Design, implement, and verify firmware in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
Define power management solutions for future generations of Qualcomm CPUs.
Develop embedded firmware to manage power and performance for CPU subsystems.
Develop firmware for boot, RAS, debug, security, and runtime services.
Define interprocessor communication interfaces between embedded controllers and the platform.
Contribute to open-source communities for processor architectures, device drivers, and firmware features.
Perform platform bring-up, debugging, diagnostics, and firmware lifecycle activities.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering experience.
3+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 5 years of embedded firmware development experience (preferred).
Proficient in writing and debugging C and assembly (preferred).
Driver development experience in RTOS or OS kernel environments (preferred).
Experience with embedded operating systems, pre-silicon environments, or ARMv8 architecture (preferred).
