What you'll do

Drive the firmware design, implementation, and verification in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
Implement embedded firmware to manage the performance of the CPU subsystem.
Characterize and tune performance management solutions for all Qualcomm SoCs.
Define CPU Performance Management solutions for future generations of Qualcomm CPUs.
Contribute to open source communities regarding processor architectures, device drivers, and firmware features.
Provide technical input to SoC and platform architects on future designs.
Assist in identifying skill requirements and hiring engineers for the team.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 8+ years of Software Engineering experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering experience.
4+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
BS/BEng in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 5 years of embedded firmware development experience (preferred).
Proficient in writing and debugging C and assembly (preferred).
Driver development experience in RTOS or OS Kernel environments (preferred).
Experience with embedded OSes like Zephyr, eCos, uC/OS, or FreeRTOS (preferred).
