What you'll do

Implement system and security patch updates for the global ASTRO network.
Administer local and remote updates across Windows clients, servers, RHEL systems, and SQL databases.
Manage McAfee antivirus software and related security products.
Diagnose and troubleshoot patching issues within a high-stress enterprise radio environment.
Perform daily maintenance tasks on master sites, dispatch sites, and RF sites.
Provide technical support for system and network sustainment activities.
Submit weekly activity and accomplishment reports to leadership.
Travel up to 25% annually to support regional patching and system maintenance.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must meet Italy SOFA compliance requirements.
Must obtain an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree plus 4 years of experience, or High School Diploma/GED plus 8 years of experience.
Experience in IT systems administration and TCP/IP network administration.
Must possess or be capable of obtaining CompTIA Security+ (or IAT Level II) and ETA CETa certifications within 6 months.
Experience with Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Active Directory, VMware, KVM virtualization, and server hardware.
Preferred: CompTIA Network+, MCSE, CISSP, McAfee products, Motorola ASTRO systems, or RF theory knowledge.
