What you'll do

Perform on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
Provide technical support for software-driven electronics and communication system infrastructure.
Optimize the performance of RF and Broadband architecture, including P25 and data infrastructure.
Maintain, test, and document complex communications systems while providing weekly activity reports.
Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
Perform maintenance on server hardware, operating systems, and software infrastructure to resolve issues.
Manage Active Directory administration and cybersecurity protocols within a technical environment.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a DOD secret (T-3) clearance.
Must have 2+ years of experience in IT, networking, field service, radio frequency, or land mobile radio.
Must possess advanced knowledge of wired communications systems including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and bridges.
Must be able to perform maintenance on server hardware/OS and troubleshoot software-driven electronics.
Must be willing to obtain CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification within 12 months of employment.
Ability to lift equipment weighing approximately 50 lbs.
Must have a U.S. Passport, International Drivers Permit, and the ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
Experience with Motorola ASTRO technology, HBSS, or CAC/PIV authentication systems (preferred).
