What you'll do

Perform preventative maintenance routines and document results for mission-critical communication systems.
Resolve complex technical problems encountered during system maintenance, upgrades, and support issues.
Optimize and troubleshoot software-driven electronics, RF systems, and broadband infrastructure.
Configure and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, and cabling.
Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments to management.
Manage the provisioning and performance optimization of communication system infrastructure.
Deliver technical support for standard telephony, data circuits, and packet switching techniques.

What we're looking for

Must reside in or be willing to commute to Essex County, New York.
Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers and pass a CJIS fingerprint check.
Must possess a current, valid driver's license with no traffic violations.
Must be willing to travel between 25% and 50% of the time.
An Associate Degree in Electronics or IT is preferred, or equivalent on-the-job experience.
Security+, CompTIA, or related certifications are highly desirable.
Requires at least 2 years of experience in fields such as LMR, RF systems, radio communications, IT systems, or networking equipment.
