Senior Field Service Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, install, upgrade, and maintain RFID hardware and software to integrate nodes into local military networks.
• Serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert on active RFID wave propagation and ISO 18000-7 Over-the-Air protocols.
• Provide independent oversight for assigned RF-ITV read nodes to ensure high operational readiness levels.
• Coordinate and perform site surveys, installations, de-installations, and formal training missions across the INDOPACOM region.
• Respond to system outages by applying troubleshooting techniques and documenting progress in the Integrated Support System tool.
• Manage quarterly preventive maintenance schedules and provide detailed reports for all completed actions.
• Conduct customer engagement and briefings to communicate RF-ITV capabilities and gather requirements for future investments.
• Perform monthly asset inventory reconciliations and ensure compliance with established Service Level Objectives.

What we're looking for

• Must have an active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Must possess a DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+) certification.
• Bachelor’s degree with 12 years experience, Associate's with 14 years, or High School with 16+ years of relevant experience.
• 12 years of experience installing, upgrading, and maintaining RFID hardware and software including Field Data Units and Iridium modems.
• 12 years of experience performing data analysis on operational, system design, architecture requirements, and performance trends.
• 12 years of experience preparing professional documents and presentations using Microsoft Office applications.
• 12 years of experience briefing INDOPACOM stakeholders and engaging both headquarters and unit-level customers.
• 10 years of experience with data visualization principles, tools, and database management.
