Install, configure, and operate complex radar systems in the National Capitol Region.
Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems, mechanical parts, cable harnesses, and RF coaxial/fiber optic cables.
Perform system integration and checkout of modified or repaired equipment.
Analyze equipment failures to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs while maintaining accurate performance records.
Maintain precise inventory records for all parts and equipment.
Travel to remote facilities to perform repairs and replace system components in various conditions.
What we're looking for
Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and at least 8 years of total relevant experience.
Experience in installing and maintaining electronics systems such as radar, electronic countermeasure, electronic warfare, or radio communications systems.
Formal training in Basic Electronics & Electricity (RF, Digital, and Analog principles) and solid state electronics.
Proficiency with standard test equipment including multi-meters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
Knowledge of military communications systems, encryption devices, and basic computer network (LAN/WAN) principles.
Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and technical writing for documentation and reporting.
Experience with Linux operating systems, COMSEC equipment, tower climbing, or HVAC maintenance (preferred).
