Federal Account Executive
As a Federal Account Executive, you will join the growth team to expand the company's presence within United States Department of the Treasury accounts, including the IRS and other financial regulatory bureaus. You will drive strategic adoption of Search AI, Security, and Observability solutions while executing land-and-expand strategies to displace legacy SIEM and monitoring providers. Your daily responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to agency leaders, navigating complex FedCiv procurement pathways like GSA and NASA SEWP, and building ecosystem coalitions with systems integrators and cloud partners. You will utilize expertise in log analytics, APM, threat hunting, and cloud architectures to solve mission-critical challenges. The role requires proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline management and a deep understanding of federal security frameworks, including OMB M-21-31 mandates and Zero Trust modernization requirements.
Expand the adoption of Elastic’s Search AI, Security, and Observability solutions within the Department of the Treasury.
Execute land-and-expand strategies to replace legacy SIEM and monitoring providers like Splunk.
Act as a trusted advisor to agency leaders and technical teams to solve complex mission challenges.
Navigate federal procurement pathways including GSA, NASA SEWP, and agency-specific IDIQs to close deals.
Articulate the value of commercial features and cloud offerings while highlighting Elastic's open-source roots.
Develop territory plans utilizing systems integrators, VARs, and cloud partners like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Manage accurate pipeline forecasting and deal progression using Salesforce.
What we're looking for
Proven track record of quota overachievement and multi-million-dollar deal execution selling enterprise SaaS/cloud software into Federal Civilian agencies.
Direct experience selling to the Department of the Treasury and/or the Internal Revenue Service with established relationships among agency buyers.
Strong understanding of Enterprise Search, Log Analytics, Security/SIEM, APM, Observability, and Cloud architectures.
Ability to navigate both technical teams and executive decision-makers including CXOs and Program Managers.
Consistent history of accurate pipeline management and sales forecasting using Salesforce (SFDC).
Experience selling against legacy SIEM providers or monitoring solutions in federal environments (preferred).
Deep understanding of federal security frameworks, OMB mandates (M-21-31, Zero Trust), and FedRAMP cloud deployments (preferred).
Existing network within Treasury's prime contractor ecosystem (preferred).
