As Facilities Operations Manager – Electrical, you will lead the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of mission-critical electrical systems supporting OCI data centers. Reporting to the Senior Critical Facilities Manager, you will own electrical plant operations, maintenance execution, vendor performance, technician leadership, operational readiness, and incident response to ensure continuous uptime for compute loads. You will manage day-to-day field execution and maintenance for critical infrastructure including switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, transfer switches, PDUs, busway, and grounding systems. The role requires proficiency with EPMS, SCADA, BMS, and CMMS tools while ensuring compliance with NFPA 70E and LOTO safety standards. You will oversee troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and service execution for electrical faults in a high-availability environment to protect infrastructure from degradation and ensure consistent power distribution across the facility.
Manage day-to-day operation, maintenance, and service execution for critical electrical infrastructure.
Oversee the maintenance of switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, generators, and power distribution components.
Lead technicians and external vendors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to service level agreements.
Serve as the primary technical lead for incident escalation and emergency response for electrical faults.
Coordinate preventive maintenance, testing, repairs, and outage management to ensure continuous uptime.
Perform root cause analysis for electrical events and implement documented corrective actions.
Maintain audit-ready records including procedures, test results, and CMMS data.
Enforce electrical safety standards including NFPA 70E, LOTO, and personal protective equipment protocols.
What we're looking for
Must have 5–8 years of experience in electrical maintenance or plant operations in mission-critical environments like data centers, utilities, or manufacturing.
Must have 1–3+ years of experience leading technicians, service teams, or maintenance execution in live operational environments.
Requires strong knowledge of switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, generators, transfer equipment, PDUs, and grounding.
Experience managing maintenance programs, outages, vendor execution, and incident response is required.
Familiarity with EPMS, SCADA, BMS, and CMMS tools is required.
A Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred where applicable.
NFPA 70E training and OSHA 30 certification are strongly preferred.
NETA or NICET credentials are a plus for the role.
