What you'll do

  • Develop and own the multi-year roadmap and architecture for the enterprise data platform.
  • Deliver scalable, cloud-native platform capabilities and reusable engineering patterns to simplify data product delivery.
  • Translate corporate policies into automated controls for security, privacy, quality, and metadata management.
  • Establish engineering standards for infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, observability, and 24x7 production operations.
  • Drive the adoption of self-service tools and developer portals to improve user experience.
  • Integrate AI and GenAI technologies across data engineering, governance, and the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead and develop a global organization of over 100 employees and strategic partners.
  • Manage portfolio economics including investment prioritization, vendor partnerships, and technology rationalization.

What we're looking for

  • Must have 10+ years of technology and data platform engineering experience.
  • Must have 10+ years of experience as a senior technology leader leading large, globally distributed engineering organizations.
  • Requires at least 3 years of recent experience with AWS.
  • Requires at least 3 years of recent experience with Snowflake.
  • Must possess experience in data governance.
  • A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated industries is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and operationalize AI, GenAI, and agentic technologies across data engineering and platform operations.
