Lead Platform Architect, Cloud

What you'll do

• Define and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure architecture including landing zones, shared services, and environment segmentation.
• Develop and document cloud infrastructure reference architectures and reusable patterns for the organization.
• Lead the design of complex cross-tower initiatives involving cloud, network, identity, and operations.
• Ensure all cloud designs are scalable, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards and business needs.
• Establish connectivity patterns for hybrid environments, multi-region deployments, and SaaS integrations.
• Evaluate and guide workload placement decisions across both cloud and on-premises environments.
• Promote automated infrastructure patterns to improve platform usability and the developer experience.
• Mentor engineers and architects on cloud infrastructure best practices.

What we're looking for

• Must have at least 10 years of experience in IT.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience as an architect.
• Must have at least 5 years of experience in cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Azure.
• Must have a proven record of leading the implementation of AWS and Azure technologies.
• Must have experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale infrastructure architectures.
• Must possess deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS), networking, and identity management.
• Must be familiar with Infrastructure as Code and Zero Trust architecture principles.
• Must have experience working in a regulated enterprise environment such as financial services or insurance.
