Head of Platform Architecture

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain the technical platform and infrastructure architecture strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the design and deployment of scalable, secure technology platforms across public cloud and on-premise environments.
• Establish and enforce governance policies, standards, and review practices for all enterprise infrastructure components.
• Manage M&A technology due diligence and lead the integration planning for acquired infrastructure and systems.
• Define the future state of technical platforms to automate recurring problems and improve developer productivity.
• Oversee the operating model for platform architecture, ensuring clear ownership and decision rights across multiple teams.
• Provide leadership and expert guidance to architects and engineering leaders to deliver large-scale technology outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by monitoring industry trends and implementing best practices for performance tuning.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant technology experience.
• 5+ years of management experience leading architecture, engineering, or technology teams in large, complex environments.
• Proven experience leading technology platform architecture and infrastructure modernization projects while managing a team of architects.
• Proficiency in multi-cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related infrastructure services like networking, storage, and virtualization.
• Experience with enterprise software platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Workday, Appian) and technical platforms such as APIM, Messaging Middleware, and DevSecOps.
• Extensive experience in M&A IT due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
• Preferred TOGAF 9 Enterprise Architecture Practitioner certification.
