The Head of Platform Architecture joins the Enterprise Architecture function to provide leadership for platform and infrastructure architecture. This role is responsible for defining the strategy, standards, roadmaps, and operating models across multiple technology domains. The successful candidate will lead senior architects and engineering teams to build scalable, secure platforms that eliminate legacy redundancy and absorb recurring technical problems to accelerate software delivery. Key responsibilities include overseeing multi-cloud and on-premise infrastructure, spearheading M&A technology due diligence, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Required expertise includes proficiency in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as experience with APIM, Messaging Middleware, DevSecOps, and observability tools. The role solves the business problem of aligning technology with strategic objectives to improve productivity and modernize infrastructure capabilities.
Develop and maintain the technical platform and infrastructure architecture strategy and roadmap.
Lead the design and deployment of scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology platforms.
Drive common standards for platforms and infrastructure to eliminate legacy redundancy across the firm.
Spearhead M&A technology due diligence and the integration of infrastructure and technology landscapes.
Design and oversee the operating model for platform and infrastructure architecture across multiple teams.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
12+ years of relevant technology experience.
5+ years of management experience leading architecture, engineering, or technology teams in large, complex environments.
Proven experience leading technology platform architecture and infrastructure modernization projects and managing a team of architects.
Deep understanding of platform architecture, infrastructure design, engineering principles, patterns, and best practices.
Proficiency in multi-cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and experience with enterprise software platforms like Salesforce, Workday, or Appian.
Extensive experience in M&A IT due diligence, integration planning, and execution.
