Engagement Manager, Services Sales

What you'll do

• Identify customer business priorities and technical needs to design specific digital transformation approaches using MongoDB technologies.
• Translate customer use cases and pain points into scoped projects and formal statements of work.
• Manage the Professional Services pipeline to ensure accurate bookings and revenue forecasts for your region.
• Own the entire sales cycle from initial technical scoping through to final deal closure.
• Articulate the business value, delivery strategies, and risk mitigation plans of professional services to customers.
• Develop repeatable assets such as estimates, proposals, and case studies in collaboration with the practice team.
• Transition agreed project scopes and customer expectations to the delivery team to ensure successful execution.

What we're looking for

• A BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience selling Professional Services or technology solutions at an enterprise software company.
• Experience as an architect, consultant, project manager, or Professional Services manager.
• Experience carrying a quota for Professional Services bookings and internally positioning/selling services.
• General knowledge of databases including RDBMS, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and methodologies like Agile or Waterfall.
• Knowledge of software architecture including cloud and on-premise technologies such as AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in German, Dutch, or French is a plus.
