Electrical Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Define and execute long-term engineering strategies aligned with company goals and regulatory frameworks.
• Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers and test technicians to foster accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and validation of electrical systems for substations, switchgear, and transformers.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to meet operational and strategic goals.
• Represent the engineering department in strategic customer engagements and build key customer relationships.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with mechanical engineering and manufacturing to ensure design for manufacturability.
• Ensure all products comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and decision-making support on complex engineering challenges.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in electrical engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Technical knowledge of protection & control systems, medium voltage switchgear, low voltage systems, and power systems analysis.
• Knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, and other industry applicable standards and codes.
• Proven track record of managing engineering teams and complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, tools, and regulatory standards.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
