Electrical Engineer, Intelligence Systems

What you'll do

• Triage product failures from production and the field based on severity and population impact.
• Drive root cause investigations down to the electrical component and PCB fabrication level.
• Implement design and process changes to improve yield, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Collect and analyze failure data to quantify population-level trends and impacts.
• Support production test, debug, and failure analysis at the board and system level.
• Evaluate supplier product change notifications and assess impacts on the production environment.
• Track and report on sustainment metrics, corrective action status, and open production issues.
• Coordinate with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Operations to maintain build schedules.

What we're looking for

• Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• 1-3+ years of professional experience in hardware product development, sustainment, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methods like 8D, 5 Whys, fishbone, and FMEA.
• Deep understanding of fabrication and assembly-level failure analysis methods including CT scan, X-ray, and SEM image analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics.
• Familiarity with standard interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or JMP to track failure trends.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Operations in a manufacturing environment.
