Senior Electrical Engineer, Counter Intrusion

What you'll do

• Own the electrical integration activities as the primary point of contact.
• Design and validate ruggedized electronics for embedded compute and power systems.
• Execute full-cycle PCB design from schematic capture and layout to bring-up and testing.
• Optimize high-power component selection and distribution in coordination with mechanical engineers.
• Trade off component selections against size, weight, power, and EMC requirements.
• Provide hands-on and in-field support for prototype and production-level products.
• Troubleshoot hardware to identify root causes and implement design improvements.
• Develop documentation for design requirements, specifications, and test coverage.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 8+ years of professional experience.
• Ability to design digital and analog electronics from concept and functional prototype to production-ready product.
• Ability to troubleshoot existing hardware to find root causes and implement design improvements.
• Experience completing full cycle PCB design including requirements, schematics, layout, bring-up, and validation.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (preferred).
• 8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex board designs and products (preferred).
