Electrical Design Architect, Data Centers

What you'll do

• Develop global reference architectures for medium and low voltage distribution systems.
• Establish standards for electrical equipment including generators, switchgear, UPS topologies, and BESS integration.
• Ensure all designs meet specific reliability goals, fault tolerance requirements, and safety standards.
• Create technical specifications for one-line diagrams, protection schemes, SCADA/EMS architectures, and core components.
• Optimize total cost of ownership by reducing capital and operating expenses through efficient power topologies.
• Lead RFIs and RFPs to evaluate vendors and OEMs for critical electrical infrastructure components.
• Track emerging technologies and industry standards to build adoption roadmaps for the platform.

What we're looking for

• Must have 12+ years of experience in electrical power systems engineering for mission-critical facilities or utilities.
• Must have 10+ years of experience as required by the job identification section.
• Proven experience delivering MV/LV distribution for large-scale data centers or similar facilities.
• Proficiency with power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, arc flash, harmonics, and protection coordination.
• Experience in relay testing and developing one-line diagrams, protection schemes, and SCADA/EMS architectures.
• Demonstrated vendor/OEM network with experience leading RFx processes and technical evaluations.
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence senior stakeholders using data-driven decisions.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
