What you'll do

Lead the technical development, qualification, and lifecycle management of mission-critical electrical equipment for data centers.
Develop technical requirements, validation plans, and acceptance criteria to ensure products meet safety and reliability standards.
Conduct root cause investigations for equipment failures and implement corrective and preventive actions with suppliers.
Define and manage testing protocols including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
Serve as the primary technical interface for manufacturers to review designs, manufacturing processes, and quality documentation.
Evaluate new electrical technologies and products for deployment in next-generation data center infrastructure.
Maintain engineering standards, technical specifications, and approved product lists for all electrical components.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on manufacturability, reliability, and total cost of ownership.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
5+ years of experience in electrical equipment engineering, product development, manufacturing engineering, supplier quality, or reliability engineering.
Strong technical knowledge of mission-critical electrical equipment including switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, and power distribution.
Experience developing electrical equipment specifications, validation plans, qualification requirements, and technical standards.
Ability to review electrical drawings, product documentation, manufacturing packages, and test reports.
Experience supporting FAT, SAT, equipment commissioning, and product qualification activities.
Proficiency in root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, Fishbone, or Five Whys.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
