Power Systems Architect, Expeditionary AI/HPC Data Center Infrastructure

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end electrical power design for AI/HPC data centers including MV distribution, switchgear, and UPS systems.
• Engineer power infrastructure specifically for high-density NVIDIA GPU clusters and liquid cooling systems.
• Design and specify utility interconnects, generator plants, and backup power topologies to meet Tier III/IV standards.
• Perform short-circuit, arc flash, and load flow studies using software like SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower.
• Architect microgrids for 1MW to 10MW installations in environments where grid power is unavailable.
• Design air-transportable, modular systems that are rapidly deployable in austere and contested environments.
• Develop infrastructure optimized for extreme temperatures, electromagnetic hardening, and SCIF-accreditable requirements.
• Translate defense customer operational requirements into technical power architectures.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying grid scale MV/LV infrastructure.
• Experience with 15kV–35kV MV systems and multi-MW power delivery.
• Experience with MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear, generators, UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, and protection systems.
• Proven track record building and deploying production infrastructure from concept through operational scale.
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred).
