DSP Wireless Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and simulate state-of-the-art wireless transmitters for high data rate applications.
• Investigate innovative PA architectures, calibration algorithms, and processing structures to enhance performance.
• Architect hardware, firmware, and software partitioning for area and time efficiency.
• Develop system models of analog front-end designs and impairments using C and MATLAB.
• Collaborate with digital designers to implement power and area-efficient digital methods.
• Work with firmware designers to realize high-efficiency software implementations and hardware acceleration.
• Perform bring up, testing, and characterization of real silicon in a lab environment.

What we're looking for

• BSEE and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
• Experience designing signal processing for wireless communications systems.
• Ability to estimate RF impairments via direct equipment measurement or self-testing via loopback.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++ for algorithm development, modeling, and simulation.
• Hands-on experience with lab testing and characterization using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, signal analyzers, and power meters.
• Basic understanding of RF and analog components, their impairments on OFDM signals, and corresponding calibration methods.
• MSEE or PhD degree (preferred).
• Experience in digital pre-distortion, crest-factor reduction, nonlinear crosstalk cancellation, and real-chip bring-up (preferred).
